GTM²C: Give The Man More Credit, homeJoin the waitlist

Privacy

The short version: we collect as little as we can, we only use it to get GTM²C up and running, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted any time by emailing gtm2c.uk@gmail.com.

Last updated 23 October 2026.

Who we are

Give The Man More Credit (GTM²C) is run by Terry Philip, an individual based in Surrey, UK. Terry Philip is responsible for your data (the “data controller” under UK data protection law).

For anything about your data, email gtm2c.uk@gmail.com.

What this page covers

Right now GTM²C is a waitlist, and this page covers just that. Before member accounts, Rooms or Crews open, we'll update it, and we'll tell everyone on the waitlist what's changed.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store:

  • your email address
  • the UK region you picked (for example, “Wales”)
  • that you ticked “I'm 18 or over”
  • the date and time you joined

We don't ask for your name, address, phone number or anything about your health.

Like every website, our hosting provider also sees your IP address when you visit. It's used to keep the site running and secure, for example to stop someone flooding the sign-up form, and isn't stored with your waitlist details.

Why we use it

  • Your email: to tell you when GTM²C opens. That's it. No newsletters, no marketing from anyone else.
  • Your region: to see where there's enough interest to start crews, and to match you with men nearby when we launch.
  • Your 18+ tick: GTM²C is for adults only.

Our legal basis for your waitlist details is your consent: you chose to join, and you can change your mind at any time. Our basis for using IP addresses to keep the site secure is our legitimate interest in protecting the site and the people on it.

Who handles it for us

We use two companies to run the site. They only process data on our instructions:

  • Supabase stores the waitlist in its London data centre.
  • Vercel hosts the website. Our site runs in its London region, but as a US company it may process some data, such as security logs, outside the UK, under the safeguards UK law requires.

If you email us, your message is handled by Google, which provides our Gmail inbox.

We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. If we start using an email service to send the launch email, we'll add it here first.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until you join GTM²C as a member, or until 12 months after we launch, whichever comes first. Then we delete them. If you ask us to remove you before that, we will.

Cookies

We don't use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind. If that changes, we'll update this page and ask first where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • show you the data we hold about you
  • correct it if it's wrong
  • delete it, or take you off the waitlist
  • stop or limit how we use it
  • give you a copy to take elsewhere

Just email gtm2c.uk@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We'll reply within one month, and it's free.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first, though.

Under 18?

GTM²C is only for men aged 18 and over. If you're under 18, please don't join the waitlist. If we learn someone under 18 has joined, we'll delete their details.
